BEACON is recruiting a Hosting Coordinator!

Following a recent strategic review, we are seeking to appoint a highly organised, self-motivated person to take on the coordination and development of our Hosting Project.

The project provides temporary accommodation in the homes of volunteer hosts to people who are at risk of destitution following a negative outcome at the end of the asylum process.

The Hosting Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training and supporting a pool of volunteer hosts, managing placements and ongoing support for hosts and guests, developing relationships and liaising with referral & partner agencies, maintaining systems of monitoring & evaluation and expanding & developing the project.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in tackling destitution amongst people seeking asylum in Bradford.

21 hours per week (to be worked flexibly including some evening work)

£22,571 – £25,419 (pro rata) [NJC Pay Scale 5] dependent on skills and experience

Contract1 year with the expectation of continuation, subject to funding
LocationThis role can be home based or delivered from our office base at Touchstone, 4 Easby Road, Bradford, BD7 1QX

The role will also involve some travel across the Bradford district to visit host homes and facilitate placements
