Over the past 9 years our small volunteer-led Hosting Project has accommodated more than 60 destitute asylum seekers in the homes of our wonderful volunteer host households in Bradford. At least a third of our guests have gone on to be granted Leave to Remain in the UK. Without our support, these people would be left street homeless in the UK or forced to return to the desperate situations from which they have been forced to flee. Thanks to the amazing support of over 30 people we have raised around £800 (some still to come in we think & including some gift aid!) for our Hosting Project. That’s over 52 weeks worth of guests allowances which means we have the funds to support a whole year of hosting.
