Volunteer with McKenzie Friends!

Do you want to help support asylum seekers who have no where else to turn?

McKenzie Friends support asylum seekers who have no access to legal representation at their appeal hearings and to gather new evidence to submit a fresh claim for asylum.


Our wonderful team of dedicated, experienced volunteers is looking for new volunteers to join us. You will receive in-house training, regular group supervision and on-going training throughout your role.

We will then invite you for an interview (Wednesday 15th March, PM) which if you are successful you will be offered a place on our two day training course (24th & 21st March) followed by shadowing and observation. This role is subject to two references.
