Team Leader (Interim)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic interim Team Leader to support and develop the work of BEACON, during a period of long-term absence of the existing permanent post-holder.

Have you got experience of managing and supporting staff and volunteers, identifying sustainable funding sources and knowledge and understanding of the issues facing people seeking asylum and refugees in the UK?

If so, you may be just the person to fill this crucial role, enabling BEACON to support people seeking asylum in Bradford as part of a passionate team in a supportive and friendly environment.

Hours16 per week to be worked flexibly across a minimum of 3 days, (ideally, including Tuesday) with occasional requirement for out of hours work to attend community events
Salary£30,296pa (£16.61 per hour) NJC Pay Scale 6 SCP 20
Contract3 months, may be extendable
LocationTouchstone, 4 Easby Road, Bradford, BD7 1QX

The role will also involve some travel to occasional community events within the Bradford district

Responsible toChair of Trustees
Holiday entitlement and benefits29 days plus 8 public holidays (pro-rata);

the post holder will be auto enrolled on the NEST pension scheme with a 3% employer contribution
